We proudly offer a one-year health guarantee for our Cocker Spaniel puppies, covering any life-threatening congenital or hereditary health conditions that may arise within the first year of ownership. Please note that cherry eye, while common in the breed, is excluded from this guarantee. To ensure transparency and peace of mind, we strongly encourage all prospective buyers to request a complete copy of our health guarantee before placing a deposit on a puppy. We also recommend having your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of pickup to validate the guarantee. Our goal is to provide healthy, happy puppies and confident, well-informed families.
I am a dedicated hobby breeder of AKC-registered Cocker Spaniels located in Darlington, South Carolina. With over 45 years of experience with the breed, my love for Cocker Spaniels began in childhood and has only grown stronger over the years. Their affectionate, family-oriented nature and those unmistakable floppy ears make them my lifelong favorite. Since beginning my breeding program in 2021, I’ve been thrilled with the quality and temperament of the puppies produced and remain committed to continually improving with each generation. My dogs are more than just pets—they are beloved members of our family. Raised in our home, they receive daily love and care in a clean, nurturing environment and are well-socialized with other dogs, cats, horses, livestock, and young children.
Our dams and sires are AKC registered and DNA tested to verify both health and breed integrity. Test results are shared openly with prospective buyers to ensure complete confidence in the lineage of our puppies. They are up-to-date on all vaccinations and deworming schedules and receive annual veterinary checkups to maintain optimal health.
Nutrition is a top priority. Our adult dogs are fed a high-quality, real meat-based kibble and enjoy occasional treats like beef liver. During pregnancy, our dams receive prenatal vitamins, and after whelping, they continue with postnatal vitamins and calcium supplements to support recovery and lactation. We work with a professional midwife for each birth to ensure the well-being of both mother and puppies throughout the whelping process.
Following delivery, the mother and her litter are kept in a quiet, cozy whelping area within our home, where they remain until the puppies are old enough to begin weaning and introductory crate training.
When properly raised and socialized with children, Cocker Spaniels make wonderful, loyal companions. They thrive on love and attention and are some of the most affectionate and adorable snugglers you’ll ever meet.
For buyers requiring delivery, we are happy to provide contact information for a trusted, reputable ground transport service that can safely bring your new puppy right to your doorstep. This service is available at an additional cost, which is paid directly to the transport provider. All transport arrangements are made between the buyer and the transporter.
